Unit of The Week: Light Origin Seeker, Alfred XIV

He is the light of hope that shines in the depths of despair.
[ACT](VC): Legion 20000 "Blaster Blade" or "Blaster Blade Seeker" (If your opponent has a grade 3 or greater vanguard, only once, this unit may return four cards from your drop zone to your deck, and search your deck for the specified card, and perform Legion.)
[CONT](VC):During your turn, if this unit is in Legion, this unit gets [Power]+1000 for each other unit you have with "Seeker" in its card name. Then, if the number of rear-guards you have is five or more, this unit gets [Critical]+1.
[ACT](VC):[Counter Blast (2)-card with "Seeker" in its card name] Search your deck for up to one card with "Seeker" in its card name, call it to (RC), and shuffle your deck.
The King of Knights has returned to form a Legion with Blaster Blade Seeker! The dynamic duo are ready to face their next challenge! Alfred and Blaster Blade defeated the rebelling Shadow Paladins in an intense Civil War. They stop the Star-vader invasion! Now they are facing a new threat from the Deleters. Alfred and Blaster Blade will once again protect Cray and vanquish their new and wicked foes!

Light Origin Seeker, Alfred XIV continues Alfred's theme to gain power from his allies. Alfred gains 1K power for each Seeker on his player's side of the field. Alfred's search ability can search your deck for any card with Seeker in its name and superior call it to the rear-guard circle. This will help Alfred gain power and fulfill his condition to gain an extra critical.

Furthermore, Light Origin Seeker, Alfred XIV can gain two criticals as soon as the third turn for the second player. Quintet Wall will put five units in the Drop Zone and they are more than enough to activate Legion. Alfred's and Blaster's power will be 25K with two critical damage before being boosted. Lion Mane Stallion can be an interesting card to boost the Legion to 35K power with two critical damage. Finally, Seeker, Sing Saver Dragon can be used for a finisher. Seeker, Sing Saver Dragon's ability to attack twice per turn and Alfred's early attacks will be too overwhelming for any opponent.

However, the Legion's only weakness is its demand for a full field. Kagero, Link Joker, and Narukami will not have problems preventing Alfred from gaining an additional critical. Kagero and Narukami will retire Alfred's rear-guards and Link Joker has a stronger advantage in its Lock ability. This remove the threat of defending against high-power attacks with extra damage.

Overall,  Light Origin Seeker, Alfred XIV and Blaster Blade Seeker are one of the strongest Legions in the game. I was not interested in building a Seeker deck before Alfred's unveiling. Now I cannot wait for Blaster Blade Seeker and Light Origin Seeker, Alfred XIV to be released in English. Blaster Blade and Alfred are my two favorite characters in the card game. You will be seeing my future Seeker deck profile next year.
