Unit of The Week: Emerald Blaze

Heh, that’s boring! I’ll take you all on!
[ACT](VC): Legion 20000 "Silver Blaze" (If your opponent's vanguard is grade 3 or greater, this unit may return four cards from your drop zone into your deck once, search your deck for the specified card, and Legion)
[AUTO](VC):[Counter Blast (3) & Choose a card with the same card name as a unit on your (VC) from your hand, and put it into your soul] When this unit attacks a vanguard, if this unit is Legion, you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck for up to two cards, call them to separate open (RC), and shuffle your deck.
[ACT](VC):[Soul Blast (2)] This unit gets [Power]+2000 until end of turn.
Many teams made big moves during free agency. There is one top free agent remaining from the Spike Brothers clan. Emerald Blaze is seeking a big deal from a Super Bowl contender. He has all the tools that team's desire in a winning player. Legion, 11K base, and athletic ability make Emerald Blaze the hottest free agent on the market. However, he is also known for being very cocky and unsportsmen like during the games. A few teams may not pick him up because of his attitude. Only time will tell if his skills outweighs his attitude problems.

Emerald Blaze and Sliver Blaze lead their team with Legion. Their Legion skill superior calls two units from deck to an open rear-circle when you attack the vanguard. This gives you five opportunities to attack in a single turn. This combo play requires rear-guards to first return to the deck before your vanguard attacks. Frozen Ogle and Sliver Blaze return to the deck after attacking an opposing vanguard if you used their skills. Now you have the required open space to superior call more players to the field for the touchdown!

Furthermore, the Legion is very costly at three counter blasts and a Persona Blast. Persona Blast can lead to some inconsistency because you must have one of the two cards in your hand to active the skill. Jumbo the Stungun helps Emerald Blaze function throughout the game by flipping damage face up in the damage zone. Stungun does not pack a lot of power, but his skill makes up for it. He gives Emerald Blaze the opportunity to use his skill at least two times and maybe a third time if you check a Heal Trigger. Silence Joker is also a very useful as well. This handy Critical Trigger can go into the Soul to flip damage face up.

Overall, Emerald Blaze is a very impressive athlete on the market. He has strong leadership skills, athleticism, ball skills, and most importantly Legion to help lead his team to the Super Bowl. His Legion skill continues Spike Brothers' trend of sending two rear-guards to the deck and calling in two fresh rear-guards from the deck for another wave of attacks. Five attacks in one turn is extremely intense and difficult to guard under any circumstance. Emerald Blaze is going land a big contract with a contender. Will the Seahawks, Patriots, or Packers give this young free agent a big deal?
