Unit of The Week: Knight of Heavenly Decree, Altmile

[AUTO](VC) Generation Break 2 Brave (This ability is active when you have three or less cards in your hand):When this unit attacks, choose up to five of your rear-guards, and they get [Power]+4000 until end of turn.
[AUTO](VC):At the beginning of your ride phase, choose up to one card from your hand, call it to (RC), and that unit gets [Power]+4000 until end of turn.
[AUTO](VC):During your turn, when your G unit Stride, choose up to one card from your hand, call it to (RC), choose one of your units with the brave ability, and it gets [Power]+4000 until end of turn.

Knight of Heavenly Decree, Altmile is the newest version of Altmile for a grade 3 card. Knight of Heavenly Decree, Altmile is loaded with three skills! He is finally built to play with Brave. Brave actives when you have three or less cards in your hand. The mechanic appears to be difficult to activate, but there are new cards to help players activate Brave.

The first skill with a Generation Break with Grave and activates when Altmile attacks an opposing unit. All of your rear-guards will gain 4,000 power until the end of the turn. He should attack first in combat to unleash a burst of power to your Royal Paladins because you do not want to miss the skill on your rear-guards. This skill is useful when you are unable to Stride a G-Unit in the late game. You are able to make up for missing Stride.

The second skill activates at the beginning of your ride phase. You may use this ability before you Stride your G-Unit. It helps lower the size of your hand to be ready to use your skills with Brave in their names. Catharsis Vivid is a good card for a budget deck with Brave. She gains 6,000 power from her skill and Altmile's skill together.

The final skill supports units with Brave. Your unit with Brave gains 4,000 power when you Stride and call a card from your hand to the field. You are decreasing your hand size to fulfill Brave's requirements. This ability continues to increase your formation's power after your second skill. It makes guarding attacks more difficult for your opponent. A very good card to call from your hand is Struggle Knight, Porex. He gains 5,000 when he is called by a card's effect and he can receive the 4,000 power from Altmile's skill.

Overall, Knight of Heavenly Decree, Altmile is the better version of Altmile for Brave decks. Brave is my least favorite mechanic as many of you already know. Knight of Heavenly Decree, Altmile gives the mechanic a proper vanguard. He is a cost efficient card as none of his skills require a counter blast. All three of his skills boosts your rear-guards' power to greater heights! You can spend your counter blasts on other cards to enhance your strategy. Show your bravery in card fights with Knight of Heavenly Decree, Altmile!

Unit of The Week: Osmanthus Maiden, Anelma

Everyone together, the preparations are complete!
Bloom-[AUTO](RC) Generation Break 1 (Active if you have one or more face up G units in total on your (VC) or G zone):When your other unit with the same card name as this unit is placed on (RC), choose up to three of your units, they get [Power]+2000 until end of turn, and if you have a vanguard with "Ranunculus" in its card name, this unit gets "Boost" until end of turn.
Osmanthus Maiden, Anelma is an exclusive card in Flower Princess of Abundant Blooming. Bushiroad is pushing cards with special abilities such as Bloom. She perfectly fits in the game's current theme. The trial deck includes a full set of her. We normally do get receive a full set of a grade two card in trial decks. However, this card is the exception because you need a full set for Neo Nectars with the Bloom ability.

Osmanthus Maiden, Anelma's has Bloom as her skill. She gives 2,000 power to three of your units after a card with the same name is placed on a rear-guard circle and she gains boost if you have a Ranunculus vanguard. The gaining the ability to boost is a major advantage. You can create columns with over 30,000 power. The two extra Osmanthus Maiden, Anelmas can boost a rear-guard and your vanguard. Your Ranunculus vanguard will attack with very high numbers.

The new cards from Flower Princess of Abundant Blooming have chemistry with Osmanthus Maiden, Anelma. Ahsha's name with Ranunculus makes her the only vanguard to play with Anelma at this moment. Ranunculus of Searing Heart, Ahsha assists Anelma to bloom with her skill. She can superior call a copy of Osmanthus Maiden, Anelma to the field. The new Anelma will also gain boost from Ahsha's skill.

Finally, Flower Princess of Faith, Celine provides additional support if you have Anelma in your hand and not on the field. Celine's skill will superior call Anelma from your hand to the field. Then, you can use Ahsha's skill to superior call a copy of Anelma from the deck. Now bloom is in full effect on the field! You can avoid your opponent retiring Anelma in the early stages of the game by keeping her in your hand and calling her with Celine's skill.

Overall, Osmanthus Maiden, Anelma is a good card to play in a deck with Ranunculus.  I consider her to be one of the best grade two units from a trial deck. She is a simple card. Simple cards can be the best cards in a trading card game because their abilities are easy to trigger. You need to play both sets of Ranunculus for your grade 3 units. Be sure to buy Flower Princess of Abundant Blooming and bloom your units to victory with Osmanthus Maiden, Anelma!

Unit of The Week: Setting Sun Star-vader, Darmstadtium

[AUTO] Limit Break 4 (This ability is active if you have four or more damage):[Choose a grade 3 or greater card from your hand, and discard it] When a «Link Joker» rides this unit, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose up to three of your opponent's rear-guards, lock them, choose your vanguard, and that unit gets [Power]+10000 until end of turn. (The locked card is turned face down, and cannot do anything. It turns face up at the end of the owner's turn)
[AUTO](VC):When this unit attacks a vanguard, this unit gets [Power]+2000 until end of that battle.
The Star-Vaders will always be the most annoying archetype in Link Joker. Their defensive strategy of locking rear-guards is very efficient. The strategy shuts down most decks. Setting Sun Star-vader, Darmstadtium is one of the best representations for Link Joker's lock. This card is currently not easy to find. It was a promo card and has not been reprinted.

Break Ride skill locks three of your opponent's rear-guard and your vanguard gains 10,000 power. The two rear-guards in the front row and the rear-guard behind the opposing vanguard are the best units to lock. You are stripping two attackers and a booster from your opponent. Defending the vanguard is much easier when your opponent can only attack with his or her vanguard. A steady flow of perfect guards will reserve cards in your hand for later in the game.

Furthermore, Setting Sun Star-vader, Darmstadtium is the perfect card to pair with Star-vader, "Omega" Glendios. They are an efficient duo. The Break Ride skill locks more than half of the cards that Star-vader, "Omega" Glendios needs locked to win. You just need to lock two more cards and the game will be yours under the correct circumstances. You may discard any extra copies of Star-vader, "Omega" Glendios to pay for the Break Ride's cost.

Finally, there is an awesome play to instantly win the game with Star-vader, "Omega" Glendios. You must have five damage to use this combo. First, Stride Nebula Dragon, Big Crunch Dragon and use its skill can lock a column of two rear-guards. Second, Break Ride Star-vader, "Omega" Glendios to lock three rear-guards. Third, use Star-vader, "Omega" Glendios's Ultimate Break to win the game. Your opponent will not see this coming.

Overall, Setting Sun Star-vader, Darmstadtium is one of the strongest defensive units in the Star-Vaders. He can set up a gaming winning turn if you time his Break Ride perfectly with Star-vader, "Omega" Glendios. You can play him in any deck with Link Joker. I hope gets a reprint in a future booster set. It deserves a reprint if Star-Vaders get new support from Bushiroad.

Unit of The Week: Dragdriver, Luard

I will......show you that I can even surpass the sky!
[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.
[AUTO](VC) Ritual 3 (Active if there are three or more grade 1 cards in your drop zone):[Soul Blast (1) Choose a face down card from your G zone, and turn it face up] When this unit is placed on (VC), you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck for up to the same number of grade 1 cards as the number of face up cards named "Dragdriver, Luard" in your G zone, call them to separate (RC), shuffle your deck, and those units get [Power]+1000 for each grade 1 card in your drop zone until end of turn.
The Shadow Paladins have quickly risen to be one of the game's best clans. Ritual has proven to be one of the most consistent abilities. Dragdriver, Luard is the evolved form of Dragheart, Luard. Dragdriver, Luard has a powerful Ritual. Luard has grown bigger muscles and large wings. The once small elf surpassed the sky to become a dominant vanguard.

Dragdriver, Luard's skill retires a rear-guard to superior call the same number of grade one units as the number of face up Dragdriver, Luard's and your rear-guards gain 1,000 power for each grade one unit in your drop zone. You can superior call up to three units with this ability. This is possible after you stride Dragdriver, Luard for a second turn. All three rear-guards will become incredible boosters with their bonus power! You do not need Dragheart, Luard to be the heart. Dragdriver, Luard's skill does not restrict you from playing any Shadow Paladin as your vanguard.

Furthermore, many new cards and old cards have chemistry with Dragdriver Luard.  Black-winged Swordbreaker is one of the best cards to superior call with Dragdriver, Luard's ability. You may draw a card after superior calling her from the deck. Dragwizard, Knies is another quality grade one unit. She gains 2,009 power after being called from the deck and her second skill retires a unit in the same column to draw a card. These two units help draw cards and cycle through your deck. You continue to gain resources throughout the game.

Finally, one of my favorite combos is to superior call Dragsaver, Esras with Dragheart, Luard's skill before using Dragdriver, Luard's skill. Then you will retire the two perfect guards to call new units with Dragdriver, Luard's skill. This may appear to be a very bad decision, but it is a great tactic to draw a perfect guard. Dragsaver, Esras's Ritual activates in the drop zone. The skill sends one Esras to your deck and you may draw the other copy. I now have a perfect guard in my hand to play next turn! You may use this loop every turn to always have a perfect guard in your hand.

Overall, Dragdriver, Luard is just as efficient just his grade 3 form. Advantage is the name of his powerful game. His ability superior call units and their abilities trigger after being called from the deck. Your new units gain a large amount of power if you have many grade one units in the drop zone. There are many awesome plays that you can make with Dragdriver, Luard. Perform Ritual to grab victory with Dragdriver, Luard!
